Varuna Shunglu is a yoga and meditation teacher and an entrepreneur. She mentors, guides and trains teachers to incorporate wellness as a part of their daily lifestyle. She is currently working on creating a global platform that can provide holistic health services and lifestyle guidance by experts to people anywhere in the world at a nominal cost. Her company, Kyogiwellness Pvt. Ltd., curates wellness spaces that bring together alternative therapies and meditation to each person in an individualized manner. She works extensively with bringing meditation to schools and led a team of 22 children from Sri Sri Academy School in Kolkata to the UN headquarters in New York to perform during the International Yoga Day Celebrations 2018. She has written for the Business Standard, Men's Health, India Today and other publications on health and wellness. She takes annual retreats in India, Southeast Asia and Europe. She received a bachelor’s degree in politics science at Lady Sri Ram College; an LLB from the Law Faculty at Delhi University; international certifications by the Yoga Alliance International; and an MSc in yogic science.
