Satish Jha co-founded the national daily Jansatta for The Indian Express and later was the editor of newsweekly Dinamaan of The Times of India Group. He has been associated with seeding, mentoring or managing over 40 startups in the field of education, health care and use of technologies to help the underserved, including DESI Power, Tarahaat.com, Drishtee.com and One Laptop per Child in India. Jha studied at The Fletcher School, The Kennedy School, the University of Maryland, the Erasmus University Institute of Social Studies in Holland, and the Institute Theseus/ EDHEC in France. He has worked in executive roles at companies such as Roche, James Martin & Co, META Group, Caremark and Adventist Healthcare.
