Rashmini Koparkar is assistant professor at the Centre for Russian and Central Asian Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. Earlier, she worked with the Indian Council for World Affairs and Vivekananda International Foundation. Rashmini’s research interests include identity and nation Building, ethnic studies, Indian foreign policy and Euroasian geopolitics. She holds a PhD in Russian and Central Asian Studies from JNU and was a student activist in her younger days. Rashmini enjoys traveling, reading and debating in her spare time.
