The late Narendra Luther was a former civil servant who held a prominent place in the realm of humor for an extended period and received numerous awards for his books. In 1985, he organized the World Humour Conference. He was a distinguished authority on the history and culture of Hyderabad and authored several books and articles on the subject, some of which have been translated into various Indian languages. He served as the president of the Society to Save Rocks and chairman of the Yudhvir Foundation. In 2016, he was honored with the Chishti India Harmony Award. Additionally, he authored another book, 'Legendotes of Hyderabad.'
