Michelle Pineiro heads the campaign for building local peace economies at the women-led peace organization CODEPINK. She has traveled extensively around the world, gathering experiences and knowledge that inform her work on social justice issues and sustainability practices. Prior to CODEPINK, she conducted policy research for Marianne Williamson’s congressional campaign. Pineiro balances her passion for social justice with her love for yoga and is also a certified yoga instructor based in southern California.
