Michal Kovács is an Executive Director of the Center for North American Studies at the University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia. He is a passionate educational entrepreneur dedicated to the development of a higher educational model that is focused on practical education and cooperation with private businesses and corporations.
Prior to his current job he established and led a regional representation and became Vice-President of an internationally institutionalized NGO, the Euro-Atlantic Center. He graduated from the Faculty of International Relation at the Economics University and later on became an alumnus of various governmental (USA, Germany, Russia) international programs for young leaders. His major areas of interest and expertise include transatlantic relations, public diplomacy, education, NGO sector development and security policy.
