Maureen A. Eger is an associate professor at the Department of Sociology at Umeå University. She holds a PhD and an MA from the University of Washington, and an MA and BA from Stanford University. Her research investigates the social and political implications of immigration-generated diversity in democratic societies and has appeared in a variety of journals, including European Sociological Review, European Political Science, International Journal of Comparative Sociology, Socius, and Social Politics.
