Mat McDermott is a Senior Director at the Hindu American Foundation (HAF), the oldest and largest non-profit advocacy organization for Hindus living in the United States. He is the producer of HAF’s two podcasts, That’s So Hindu and the award-winning All About Hinduism. Mat holds a degree in Writing & Literature from Burlington College, where his work focused on the intersection of Bengali devotional poetry, the work of Rabindranath Tagore and the Beat Generation. He also holds a Masters degree from New York University in Global Affairs. He lives in New York City.
