Malcolm Sawyer is professor emeritus of economics at Leeds University, UK. He specializes in macroeconomics theory and policy and financialization. He was the managing editor of the International Review of Applied Economics for three decades. He is the author of 12 books, editor of over 30 and he has contributed over 100 papers to academic journals and more than 100 book chapters.
