Leonard Swidler is a professor of Catholic thought and interreligious dialogue at Temple University, Philadelphia. He is a co-founder and editor of the Journal of Ecumenical Studies and founder and president of the Dialogue Institute: Interreligious, Intercultural International. In 2002, he received a prize from the Academic Society for the Research of Religions and Ideologies (SACRI) at the University of Cluj, Romania. Swidler has published several books about interreligious dialogue.
