Julian Zelizer is a professor of history and public affairs at Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey. He graduated from Massachusetts’s Brandeis University and holds a PhD in history from Maryland’s Johns Hopkins University. He is a political analyst for CNN for which he has published over 700 op-eds. He also contributes to National Public Radio’s Here & Now program. He has authored and edited over a dozen books on American political history, two of which won him the DB Hardeman Prize. Zelizer received fellowships from the Brookings Institution, the Guggenheim Foundation, the Russell Sage Foundation and New America.
