John Sydney Hopkins is an independent management consultant affiliated with Radar Global LLC. He has worked in global bond markets and strategy for over 20 years. In Madrid, between 1991-1998, he worked in the bond market, assisting global investors to assess the process of Spain’s entrance into the euro and likelihood of meeting the Maastricht criteria. More recently, he advised financial institutions in the US on bond-related matters amid the global financial crisis. Hopkins holds a BA in Political Economy from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and an MBA from Georgetown University.
