Cindy Sheehan is an American anti-war activist and author. Her latest book is the 2015 "The Obama Files: Chronicles of an Award-Winning War Criminal," co-authored with Larry Pinkney. In 2012, Sheehan was the vice-presidential nominee of the Peace and Freedom Party. Her son, the US Army Specialist Casey Sheehan, was killed during the Iraq War. Her published works include an account of her first year of activism titled "Not One More Mother's Child"; a collection of her writing and speeches, "Dear President Bush"; and a memoir called "Peace Mom: A Mother's Journey through Heartache to Activism."
