She has worked in public health (World Health Organisation), managed a company in Switzerland and is currently Editor-in-Chief of The News Minute in India. Recipient of several journalism awards, Subramaniam is an author of two books. She is a graduate of Delhi and Stanford Universities and speaks five languages.
