Catherine Gegout

Catherine Gegout is a Lecturer in International Relations at University of Nottingham. Her research focuses on international relations theory and European politics, with a focus on European foreign and security policies. More recently, her attention has shifted to European military and economic intervention in Africa, and the role of the International Criminal Court. Gegout is the author of “European Foreign and Security Policy: States, Power, Institutions and American Hegemony” (University of Toronto Press, 2010). She received her PhD from the European University Institute in Florence, Italy.
