Benjamin Canyon Gass is a musician, poet, and serial entrepreneur. Raised in a Jewish family, he has worked on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict for nearly two decades. A trained mediator, he began his career at the leading international conflict resolution nonprofit, Search for Common Ground, where he supported civil society exchanges, back-channel talks, and shuttle diplomacy between conflicting countries. Benjamin also served as an editor of a Middle East news service, working with hundreds of Israeli, Palestinian, and American authors to publish articles that offer constructive solutions to regional conflicts. Currently, he serves as a writing mentor with We Are Not Numbers. Benjamin holds a degree in philosophy and conflict resolution from The Evergreen State College.
