Aleksander Kwasniewski is the former Polish president, having served in office from 1995 to 2005. He is the recipient of several international awards and honors, including the Honorary Knight Grand Cross of the Most Honorable Order of the Bath from the British government, and the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honor from the French state. Most recently Kwasniewski was appointed as the European Parliament’s envoy to Ukraine.
