Alan Greene is a Lecturer in Law at Durham University. He holds a PhD, BCL and an LLM from University College Dublin (UCD), School of Law. His current research builds upon the themes explored in his PhD, focusing on economic states of emergency, counterterrorism and national security. He is also interested in human rights, particularly the European Court of Human Rights. Greene has held visiting positions at Durham Law School and Columbia Law School.
