Agustina Giraudy is a professor of political science at the School of International Service, American University. Her research, published by various university presses and top-ranked journals, addresses debates on subnational (and national) democratic and semi-authoritarian regimes and subnational politics in Latin America. Before joining American University, Agustina was an Academy Scholar at Harvard University, a public servant at the Anti-Corruption Office in Argentina and a consultant for the Ford Foundation, the Inter-American Development Bank and the World Bank. More recently she has become a regular consultant for various US Government Agencies. Agustina is also a printmaker, and her art has been showcased in various venues in the DC area.
