We publish daily on our website and we select some of our best articles every month in our e-magazine. We will give you context and multiple perspectives on issues that matter. In July, we continue to bring you interesting perspectives from interesting people around the world. This includes the members of our editorial internship program. Alana James, an FO° alumna, tells about her journey to self-advocacy as a black woman. Assistant Editor Tara Yarwais shares lessons from her studies in the contemporary science of radicalization, and her colleague Elizabeth Tate calls for a return to the genuine fun of early social media before Big Tech made it soulless. The whole FO° intern team also collaborated with another young author, Vivien Ábrahám, to help her share both her research and personal experiences regarding the challenges female student athletes face.
Also in this issue, Mauktik Kulkarni meditates on the role religious self-aggrandizement played in the relative electoral downfall of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ella Valentine warns that US Democrats will have to do much more than simply replacing their elderly former candidate Joe Biden if they want to defeat Donald Trump in November, and Martin Plaut shares his personal recollections of his neighbor, the stouthearted lawyer Keir Starmer, who has just become the British Prime Minister.
